Exploration of a young queen to a new realm

She looks over at Gemini with a smile on her face. Aphrael turns to look at the fountain then sighs as she places a hand near the water. She keeps to herself mostly but she does listen to the man and the chld talking. She looks at the water then sings again in a soft tone.

Looks over to the lady in blue with her deep dark eyes. Her eyes are the type that if you looked deeply into them, you would fall through the universe. Smiling, she bows her head and in the woman's voice, "M'lady, I can tell you are of high stature. Forgive the little one. I will now be speaking for the both of us. She was just so excited about seeing the queen from the heavens and you look a lot like Lady Caseopia." Still smiling, she closes her eyes, then raises her hand, open palmed towards her person and makes a slow sweeping motion from the top of her head to her waist. A small light eminates from her and she transforms from a small girl in a torn blue and white dress into a slender woman with long, wavy blonde hair. She wore a blue and white dress as well, but it is down to her ankles, the back open and very form fitting. The front is very modest, as the top is only down to the collorbone and the straps thin out as they go towards the back and the dress is sleeveless. Her eyes are still black as night and one could actually think they see a glimpse of a star within them. Her feet are bare,her skin alabaster white as the moons. She looks at the group and smiles. She bows with a curtsie as well.

He was about to speak, but found the little one engaging the taller woman. He didn't wish to be rude, for he was a representative of the city. He had to show a higher standard of respect with new people. Val'Dariah was his city. His family was one of the oldest human families within the city. Yet they had never joined in the wars against Val'Dariah. They had migrated to the city after the wars through their farming and trading lines.

Sighing slightly, he felt his mirror heat up. He brought it out of his pocket and looked at it. "Accept." Slowly his image vanished, replaced with one that had a cold steel helmet in the design of the prison guards.

"Sorry for disturbing you, councilman Darkstar, but we have a problem at the prison. A strong power is appearing upon our warning wards. We were wondering if you could come to check it out?"

Nodding slightly, "I will be there," he touched the mirror. Sighing, he watched his image return. He turned to the women and bowed. "Excuse me, Ladies. If you shall need me, just ask one of the guards of a one Mr. Darkstar Szun. They will know you are asking for me and get ahold of me."

Turning slightly, he vanished in a puff of red mist.

She would nod to the to women as she looks to the man seeing that he was important just by the way he acted she would turn and starts walking away heading in no real direction at all. She would just look around the city for a little while knowing that she was no longer home she would sigh softly feeling the ache of loneliness for the first time in fifty years or so. She would ignore it and brush it to the back of her mind to not think of it a moment longer. She would feel the warmth of the air a slight smile played on her lips as she would walk with grace. Her muscular legs would flex as she walked she would look around with her deep rich brow eyes seeing the wonders of this place noticing a few thing here and there. Some people would be walking around with there family's others with the spouses and some just walking to be walking. She would find a nice spot out of the path way of people near a building where there is enough light to see what she is doing. Reaching back behind her she would pull a brown leather bound book out with a picture of a knight battling a dragon on it the details would be great and in depth. She unfastened the leather piece that held it closed and pulled out a small piece of black coal as she starts to draw in the book she would draw what she has seen so far as a reminder of things to come. she would draw out the first two people the women and child that were at the fountain talking she would go into great detail with them as she would finish up that one she would start on the other a tall man with a red cloak as well she would draw him standing there with the two females talking with them. she would blow the extra coal off the parchment so it would not ruin the picture at all.The last one she took some enjoyment in drawing it was of the arrogant drow that she had meet earlier that day. She would chuckle just slightly as she would draw him. His deep eyes locked with a mixture of hate and lust. As she would draw him she would start working on the armor she saw on his it was the armor of Lloth she would make sure that she got the details right on that for sure. She would just sit there and ignore most people as she would draw in her book.

Her eyes grow to see this other woman before her. She nods to the woman before her "the child is fine and i understand all right about someone liking someone for another person" Aphrael takes in a deep breath then makes a few snowflakes come from her breath for the child to play with while she nods at the man who looked important and she notices he seems to be busy with something. Just then after the man leaves she gets to her feet to show a simple dance of her people. She moves so gracefully and soft on her barefeet since thats how it always had been done in past.

As Lucian leaves, Gemini bows in wishing him farewell and safe paths. The disembodied voice of the littler girl giggles as the snowflakes appear. As Aphrael begins to dance, Gemini (adult version) lifts her hands in swift movements and small lights begin to dance with Aphrael. They twirl around her body and the light illuminating from within seem to make her look as if she, herself, were a celestial being. Gemini's eyes sparkle as she looks over at the woman drawing. "That is a very nice drawing miss." Gemini's younger version giggles as she can see through the book and onto the drawings. With a flick of her wrist, some of the dancing lights fly over to Alex and dance around her before sitting down beside her, giving her more light.

He walked into the area of the fountains coming from the tavern side. He looked around noticing the people and shuddered at the midgets. Both of the girls looked like they were children and he wondered how powerful they really were. He would have to tread softly with these temple children. They may very well be older than him. He shook his head for a moment and chuckled slightly thinking of being a child for several thousand years. He couldn't do it; he'd have to kill himself. He moved around to the southern edge where he saw it. The temple that had challenged him earlier. He smiled at her without her looking of course. He wasn't going to let a temple know that he respected the power displayed in personality. The difference in most was that he knew she could take care of herself. She had that image and he had that sense about her. As soon as she came into view he saw the strange child that had talked him down when he first got there. The child icicle was dancing, so he felt the need stay away. He was known to slaughter children, though, female children often stayed alive for they were future temples and he made sure they died swiftly if it meant he had to kill them. However, he did stand there and with his Drow sight he watched the woman draw. He remarked to himself that her ability was quite good and inside he praised her abilities, for, she was remarkable. Talents must have been born to her, for, he again could sense her prowess in battle and he could see her drawing ability. He wondered what other abilities lied within her cold structure.

A slight grin would cross her lips as she would listen to the one talking to her she would nod her head in thanks as she would remain silent and draws. She would notice a new shadow near by and looks up only to see the drow from earlier before standing there watching her. she would only chuckle as she spoke to him in a tone just loud enough to be heard by her.

"Come now drow...surly you are not afraid to come closer to me and talk with me?"

She would only give a smile as she would chuckle a little more knowing that she would be able to get him to come closer to her even if its just a little bit. But none the less she would see to that as well. She had respect for him not that she would ever admit it and also thought him handsome not that he would notice such things nor would she even tell him that one.

Gemini stops her optical illusion and turns to see the drow arrive. Within her mind, she argues with her younger self to be quiet. As the drow approaches, she is in her adult form. In a soft voice "Vedui' Drow. I trust your paths have been guided and dark." She smiles at Alex and the lady in blue. She walks over to the fountain and nonchalantly places a hand in the water and plays with the ripples.

Victor looked at the temple, however, he made no attempt to acknowledge her. The temple reminded him of something greater and he didn't trust it. He did, however, maneuver closer to the warrior temple drawing. This hume seemed to be inviting death as she spoke to him. Talking was not something that Victor exceeded the limits of more than a word a day, often. He was usually considered grumpy unless on a tirade and then he was simply considered a murderous drow. He cared not, for, the people that whined about him usually were the first to go. He walked within enough paces to stand behind the woman, but be far enough away that her weapon would not touch him with a swing. He wasn't stupid and kept the fact that there could be bounty hunters here that know of him. He was aware of the fact that they might be here for him and that this woman very well could be one of them. He did, however, get a ominous feeling and shifted his eyes toward the palace of the vampire mistress Mae. He knew, however, if she desired him or his assistance that the mirror he held on his person would be their conduit. He looked at the beautiful temple and then at her artwork. It was simple, yet elegant and he was impressed ever still. He wanted to see more work, but was negligent to his desires. Those whom feed their desires often are punished by the consequences, he'd learned. He refrained often from giving into his own wants, for, a small fear that Lolth would abandon him. He didn't need Loth's protection, but there was a warmth from her that he liked; not to mention the darkness.

Alex would listen to the words of every one around her she could feel the drow close to her but far enough out of her range where her sword could not reach him. "This one is smart...but I wonder if he really can tell friend from foe" she thought to her self. Her hand would be getting tired as she would look up for a moment setting the book down beside her it was the perfect likeness of the drow. She would slowly turn and face him looking up at him she would give a soft smile. Bringing her hand to the back of her neck and rubbing it for in fact it was terrible sore from being in a position of having her head bent down low for over an hour. She desired she would be the first to make conversation with him and try to be friend this untamed drow. "Hello my name is Alex Belmont ...your name is good sir?" most of it would have been done inn sign and the rest with words she knew enough drow sign to get buy with but not enough to hold a long conversation.

He looked as the person talking to the temple left to the town. He just stared down the temple creature looking at him. There was no malcontent or hatred, just a direct intense stare. When the temple creature left he looked back to the temple in front who had introduced herself as Alex Belmont. He stood there for a moment taking in her previous words of his lack of recognition of friendship. He indeed had good knowledge of his friends and foes. The count was zero to everyone when it came to the friends and foes ratio. He only paid attention the small one enough to nod in the small temple's direction. He simply nodded to acknowledge the tiny temples greeting. His focus returned to the warrior in front of him. He simply stated, "Vicyrr De Rahel." He didn't try to shake hands and simply nodded to her. He decided to retort, however, "I do know my friends and foes." He wanted her to be intimidated by him so he smiled wryly and answered, "Zero friends and as many enemies that die by my blade and swear my death to theirs." He gave her a devilish smile as he said it and pointed to her neck as if to offer the relief from his hands. He wanted partly to touch her and partly to show her one of his talents.

Looks up at the Drow from her distraction, brow raised and then a nod. She got the uneasy feeling he had toward her. She understood though she had never experienced such towards her. Only in the stories did Lady Caseopia tell her of how things were on mortal Earth. She looks at the lady in blue and bows her head. "Dear lady, you have been kind towards me as I was confused of my surroundings. But I must take my leave and wish you the best on your journey." She looks at the warrior that was drawing and simply nods her farewell, then her eyes momentarily switch to the Drow before turning around and entering the darkened forest. She smiled as the forest did not seem so dark. Her eyes glowing in the darkness, she makes her way to the city, wondering which path she would want to take.
